How To Use the Template Documents

The templates are designed to be simple “fill‑in‑the‑blank” documents. Follow these rules carefully:

  1. Replace “AllRightsReservedUniversity.org” with Your Society Name

  2. Single Blank Line = First/Given Name

    • Anywhere you see one blank line, you put your first/given name only.

    • Example:

      • “I, ________, do hereby give notice…”

      • You write: “I, Michael, do hereby give notice…”

  3. Three Blank Lines = First, Middle, and Last Names

    • Anywhere you see three blanks in a row, you put your first, middle, and last names (your full family and given names).

    • Example:

      • “I, ___ ___ ___, being of sound mind…”

      • You write: “I, Michael James Smith, being of sound mind…”

  4. Check for Consistency

    • Make sure your society name is spelled the same way in every document.

    • Make sure your name is always written the same way (same order, same spelling).

    • Save each document after you finish editing it.

Technical Tips

  • Open PDFs in your PDF reader to read instructions or reference documents.

  • Open Word documents (.doc or .docx) in Microsoft Word (or equivalent) to fill in the blanks.

  • After editing, use “Save As” to keep a clean, completed copy of each document in your society folder.
